Maya Candles with SSS Maya, mental ray, Photoshop October 2007
I was writing part of a collaborative review on Maya 8 (my area was the new rendering related features) for Highend3D including a little video tutorial etc but the collaboration sorta fell apart. This was just one of the renders from it. Rendered using Mental Ray in Maya 8 with the new SSS parametres that were added to the standard Maya shaders.
